A useful first release is not a small version of every possible feature. It is the clearest version of the promise the product is making.

For Vira and the other products in this archive, that meant starting with the main customer journey, then giving the operational details a place that could grow without making the public experience heavy.

Good structure buys a team time. It lets new features join the product without asking users to relearn its basic language every few weeks.
